EXPERIENCE:
– Manager and founder of Novus Windpower, LLC, Distributed Wind Systems, LLC and Great Plains Windpower, LLC.
Part of an experienced development team working to develop, finance, construct, own and operate multiple wind energy projects in the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandle. (2002 to present)
– Principal of PDC Group International, Inc.
Responsible for the overall development and financing of independent power projects, including the drafting and negotiation of project contracts, negotiations with lenders and management and coordination of related activities and services. (1990 to 2001)
– Vice President & Member of Board of Directors; Sunlaw Energy Corporation
One of five co-founders of a company established to develop and own cogeneration and independent power plant projects. Completed the first ever fully non-recourse project financing of a cogeneration project in 1984. Responsible for project feasibility and conceptual design, financial modeling, preparation and negotiation of turnkey construction contracts, power sales agreements, fuel supply arrangements and transmission service contracts and insurance program structuring. (1981 to 1989)
– Prior experience included service relating to energy conservation and cogeneration feasibility assessments and surveys with an energy consulting firm in Southern California (1979 to 1981), service as a regular officer and helicopter pilot in the United States Air Force, and work as a commercial helicopter pilot following honorable discharge from the USAF. (1970 to 1977)
– Raised and graduated high school in Guymon, Oklahoma, with family members who are established, lifelong members of the Guymon community.
EDUCATION:
– University of Arizona, Master of Science Degree in Energy Systems Engineering, 1979.
– United States Air Force Academy, Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Sciences, 1970.
